Sneak peek of an upcoming Need For Speed: Unbound
Need for Speed Unbound is an upcoming 2022 racing video game developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It was revealed by Electronic Arts(EA) on October 6, 2022. The game features an art style that merges street art elements like cel-shading and graffiti art with the more realistic art style of other Need For Speed games. The map is basically based in a fictional city inspired by Chicago called Lakeshore City.
Aside from that, it has been shown that some of the customization are really wild in NFS: Unbound.
Even the smoke effects are entirely different. EA really did manage to turn this one into a different
game. From having realistic, to combining graffiti, cartoon and realistic style all together. To get to the top, you have to take risks. Choose how and when to put it all on the line, pulling huge drifts, outdriving the cops, or placing side bets with your own earnings against rival racers. Time is money, so find the fastest way to earn enough cash to enter the weekly qualifiers and make it to Lakeshore’s ultimate race, The Grand. The more you race, the more you build heat. While the cops pile on the pressure, you have to make tactical decisions using new escape mechanics to take control of the chase.
(Rydell's Rydes)
Rydell's Rydes will be you first safehouse in the start of the game. You can use this safehouse to hide from cops, fix or customize your car.
(Storm Drain, Cyrill Heights)
This will be you first place to race and gain fames. By doing that, you will also have to beat some of the best Lakeshore underground street racing community.
(City Pier, Underwood Gardens)
When it comes to night, you'll most likely will get noticed by cops by the time your in a race. Make sure not to get caught because cops definitely won't listen to your excuse.
(Rudiger's Safehouse, Yams Park)
Can't get back home to Rydell's safehouse? Come to Rudiger's safehouse. It is the perfect place for you to also lay down from cops. Remember that safehouses are scattered everywhere in Chicago. Hide from police as much as you can.
That's all about the recent sneak peek given by EA Studios themselves. More will be shown once the game is out soon.
